Reservation Policies

Please read our reservation and cancellation policies carefully. East Lake Resort may revise this and other policies from time to time.

East Lake Resort requires full payment for all reservations at the time they are made. Check-in time is after 4 PM and check out is before 11 AM; late check outs will occur a $25 per hour fee.  Any extra cabin guests above the max. capicity are $5 per night and must be declared at check-in.  Please be certain about your travel plans prior to making your reservations. If you need to cancel your reservation, we will gladly refund 90% of your purchase if you cancel 30 days or more before your scheduled reservation. If you request a cancellation less than 30 days, we only issue a refund for the days that your cabin, RV/Camping Site, Mooring or Pontoon boat is re-rented by someone else. You may request a cancellation by logging in and viewing your reservation. You will need your reservation as well as the last name and postal code the reservation was made under (this information is typically sent to you in your confirmation email). We do not issue any refunds for late arrivals, early departures or bad weather.

Pet Policy:

East Lake Resort accepts up to two (2) well mannered pets in all of our free standing Cabins and Camping Rooms and must be declared at check in.  Pets are not allowed in the Store/Café building due to food service regulations.  The only exception to this rule is for service animals.  $10 per night charge per pet, not to exceed $50 per pet for extended stays. This fee covers the additional time and effort needed to clean the guest accommodations after a pet visit.  In addition to the cleaning fee, all guests must sign a Pet Policy upon check in and provide Credit Card info for above normal damage or cleaning.

Must be 18 yrs or older to rent motor boats. Boats returning late are subject to additional rental fees. Due to liability reasons, East Lake Resort rental boats are not allowed to be beached or docked anywhere on East Lake, except on the resort property or docks. Boats rented in successive days may not be subject to daily time restrictions, however all boats must be returned nightly to the resort for fueling and daily maintenance. Because East Lake Resort has a limited number of rental boats, and because weather and fishing conditions are subjective; there are NO refunds given on rental boats. Once payment has been received and that boat has been reserved for that guest it has been removed from available inventory. In other words, if the weather is bad or the guest changes his mind, that boat will still be at the dock waiting for the reserved guest to use it. No Refunds are issued for boats. There is also a refundable security deposit required for each rental, this ensures that our boats and equipment are brought back in the same condition as when they left.

Your Privacy

We receive and store any information you enter on our Web site or give us in any other way. You can choose not to provide optional information, but we do require enough information to create your reservation, contact you, and process your payment.  We use the information you provide for such purposes as responding to your requests,  improving our service, and communicating with you. To simplify contacting you, we also make use of your email address to confirm transactions as well as notifying you about special events. We are not in the business of selling your information to others, and will share information only  with third-party service providers such as our merchant payment service, who perform functions on our behalf. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our Conditions of Use and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of East Lake Resort, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction. Obviously, however, this does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing personally identifiable information from customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Notice.

Information Security

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
